Any Given Sunday

Every Sunday for as long as I can remember after church we all gather at my parent's house for some good conversation, lots of coffee and some delicious food. Everyone and anyone is welcome to come, and with 25 grand kids, and all there friends running around, things tend to get a little crazy to say the least. One thing we can't live without is our big Sunday dinner. We always have to think big when planning the meals because we never know who will show up.  This Sunday we decided to make individual homemade pizza's. My mom had planned ahead and ordered her pizza dough from Sari Aho and boy were they good.

Collin snagging a cookie before dinner.

My baby Carly enjoying her pizza.

My mom slaving away in the kitchen while we all sit around watching her.

Donna and My mom putting the final touches on the food before we call everyone in.

Forest showing off his skills on the dough tossing.

Every Sunday the kids go into the pantry and serve us adults. They usually come out with a menu asking if we want coffee, tea, or water.

Today we started out by getting the kids pizzas made first. Of course they all wanted to help. So I let them take a turn putting cheese on. Notice Kasen on the counter? Yes, there usually is always kids on the counter at some point during the dinner making.

This is a typical Sunday night at the Stenersen house. It may seem chaotic at times, but we all feel very blessed to be a part of it.

  1. I loved my pizza with locks and the cream cheese dill spread. It seems like such a normal Sunday to us, but to others I'm sure it would be overwhelming. Thank goodness for a bunch of girls, it doesn't take long to clean the whole mess up... Thanks for the post, you are awesome!
